The key to converting website visitors into loyal consumers is to have a strong, distinct brand image. Customers are also prepared to pay a premium for branded products or custom merchandise that provide quality and consistency.

You may use a variety of methods to make your brand stand out. However, as the proprietor of an online clothes company, you should start with the basics: making your items stand out. Our interior and exterior labels come in handy in this situation.

Don’t panic if you’ve never heard of inside and outside labels or aren’t sure if your brand requires them. This blog post will go through the fundamentals of these bespoke branding possibilities and how they may help you stand out from the crowd.

A dictionary of branding options

Let’s take a look at the most common words to have a better understanding of all the different types of branding alternatives.

  • Inside Label — The country of origin, size, fabric, and care instructions are all required by law on the inside label. On the back of the garment, under the collar, this type of label is printed.
  • Outside Label — Outside labels are printed on the garments outside, beneath the collar. It’s usually where brands display their logo, but it could also be text or other symbols.
  • Manufacturer’s Tag — A manufacturer’s tag carries the same information as an inner label, but it is normally sewed to the back of the garment’s collar.

What you should know about our outside labels

  • Outside printed labels can be nearly anything. It’s typically where designers put the brand’s logo, a short text, or other images.
  • This sort of label is available on most t-shirts, hoodies, and sweatshirts (excluding racerbacks).
  • Some all-over-print items can also be customized with unique exterior labels.
  • On the same garment, you can’t have both printed inside and exterior labels. The labels on some items can glow though the fabric and overlap each other. It’s also not possible to combine a rear print and an exterior label.
  • Filter products by Branding choices > Outside label to identify those having the outside label branding option.
  • For most clothes, our outer label specifications are 3′′ x 3′′.

Label printing’s advantages

A label could be anything — a (very) short joke, a doodle of your cat, an important date. However, in many circumstances, it will most likely be your brand logo, so that is what we will discuss. Custom-printed labels or custom merchandise are something you should think about if you have a successful online store.

  • It gives your brand a more professional appearance. Your items are totally under your brand with printed labels, and your buyers can tell that you have paid attention to even the tiniest details. Nothing could be more professional than that.
  • It makes your business stand out. You’re working on yet another angle of building and distinguishing your brand by designing labels on your items, which helps you stand out from the competitors.
  • It serves as a regular reminder of your company’s identity. After a buyer receives the thing, there’s a good probability they’ll forget about the business where they purchased it. If it’s out of sight, it’s out of mind. A printed inside or outside label on a shirt, on the other hand, keeps your brand in their minds for the duration of the clothing. It’s yet another way to express yourself creatively. You might provide a humorous or educational message for the customer.
